On some nights, the sky is the best show in town. This image, a composite of six exposures taken over Jökulsárlón, Iceland's largest glacial lake, won an international astrophotography competition. It captures two green auroral rings and their reflections off the serene lake. The distant band of our Milky Way is also visible in the background sky.
