This stereo anaglyph of 4 Vesta was created from two images recorded by the Dawn spacecraft in July. Vesta is a 500-kilometer asteroid in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter. The 3D view shows newly discovered terrain, including long equatorial ridges and troughs, and a prominent string of three craters.
