The New Horizons spacecraft captured this image of Jupiter in 2007 on its way to Pluto. Jupiter is known for its Great Red Spot and its regular, equatorial cloud bands. This image, taken near Jupiter's terminator, shows the planet's diverse cloud patterns, including turbulent whirlpools and swirls near its South Pole.
