COSMIC MESSAGE
Even with bright moonlight, this brilliant Leonid fireball meteor was captured over the Canary Island Observatorio del Teide on Tenerife. The colorful trail and final flare occurred as Earth passed through dust particles from comet Tempel-Tuttle. Leonids are known for their fast, bright meteors.
