Young Moon Meets Evening Star

NASA APOD · Benjamim Ribeiro
COSMIC MESSAGE

The young Moon, only 35 hours old, meets Venus, our evening star, in the western sky. This conjunction, captured above a rugged horizon, shows the two brightest objects after the Sun in a twilight sky. Mercury, not visible here, has already set below the horizon.
