COSMIC MESSAGE
Tomorrow, the Moon's shadow will sweep across Earth, creating an annular solar eclipse. The shadow, 240 to 300 kilometers wide, will travel from southern China, across the Pacific, and into North America. An annular eclipse happens when the Moon is too far from Earth to fully cover the Sun, leaving a bright ring of sunlight visible around the Moon's silhouette.
