The Antikythera Mechanism was found at the bottom of the sea aboard an ancient Greek ship. X-ray images have confirmed it is a mechanical computer. It had an accuracy thought impossible in 80 BC, when the ship sank. This sophisticated technology predates similar devices by over a thousand years.
