On February 15, 2013, a meteoroid entered Earth's atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, Russia. Traveling at 20 kilometers per second, it created a flash brighter than the Sun. This photograph, captured by Marat Ametvaleev, shows the brilliant bolide during his morning sunrise session.
