NASA APOD · Tamas Ladanyi
COSMIC MESSAGE

As the Sun set, a Full Moon rose over Tihany, Hungary, last week. The Moon grazed Earth's dark, umbral shadow in the year's first partial lunar eclipse. The partial phase, seen as a darkening along the Moon's upper limb, lasted less than 27 minutes. This composite image captures the scene's natural light range.
