COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet Lovejoy, C/2013 R1, was captured on New Year's Day 2014, sweeping through Hercules. This deep exposure reveals its beautiful tails. Though faint, it was a good target for binoculars in the northern hemisphere, visible before dawn.
