COSMIC MESSAGE
The Heart and Soul Nebulae are two large star-forming regions in the constellation Cassiopeia. The Heart Nebula, IC 1805, is on the right, and the Soul Nebula, IC 1848, is on the left. Both glow brightly in the red light of energized hydrogen gas. They are about 7,500 light-years from Earth and are home to several young open clusters of stars.
