Cygnus Mosaic 2010 - 2020

This beautiful skyscape is a mosaic of interstellar dust and glowing gas across the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy. It spans 28 by 18 degrees across the sky near the northern end of the Great Rift and the constellation Cygnus. Deneb, the alpha star of Cygnus, is visible on the left. The region is crowded with stars and luminous gas clouds, including the dark Northern Coalsack.
