NGC 1333 is a reflection nebula in the constellation Perseus, about 1,000 light-years away. It lies at the edge of a large, star-forming molecular cloud. This close-up view, spanning over 15 light-years, shows details of the dusty region and hints of red emission from Herbig-Haro objects, which are jets from newborn stars.
