COSMIC MESSAGE
The Hercules Cluster of Galaxies, also known as Abell 2151, is about 500 million light-years away. This cluster is rich in gas and dust, with many star-forming spiral galaxies. It has relatively few elliptical galaxies, which tend to lack gas and dust. The blue tint in this image shows star-forming galaxies, while older stellar populations appear yellowish.
