Wolf-Rayet stars are massive, hot stars that slowly shed their outer layers. WR 124, seen here, is creating the surrounding M1-67 nebula. It expels gas blobs, each over 30 times the mass of Earth, through violent stellar winds. The nebula itself spans six light-years across.
