Hot, young stars and pillars of gas and dust crowd into NGC 7822. This star-forming region lies about 3,000 light-years away in the constellation Cepheus. NASA's Wide Field Infrared Survey Explorer, WISE, captured this detailed infrared view. Within the nebula, bright edges and complex dust sculptures dominate the skyscape.
