Ceres, the largest asteroid in the asteroid belt, is a 1,000-kilometer-wide dwarf planet orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. NASA's Dawn spacecraft is exploring and mapping this world, having taken a 20-frame video during its approach. These images now rival the best views of Ceres ever taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.
