COSMIC MESSAGE

Orion the Hunter cradles stellar nurseries within cosmic dust and glowing hydrogen, located about 1,500 light-years away. This wide view spans approximately 30 degrees, stretching across the entire constellation. The Great Orion Nebula, the closest large star-forming region, is visible just right and below center. To its left are the Horsehead Nebula, M78, and Orion's belt stars.
