COSMIC MESSAGE

Twenty-five years ago, on Valentine's Day, the Voyager 1 spacecraft was four billion miles from the Sun. It looked back one last time to create this first-ever Solar System family portrait. The complete portrait is a 60-frame mosaic, taken from 32 degrees above the ecliptic plane. Voyager's wide-angle camera swept through the inner Solar System, linking up with Neptune, the outermost planet.
