COSMIC MESSAGE
Earth's April sky features the Lyrid Meteor Shower, which has been observed for over 2,000 years. This meteor is a grain of dust from Comet Thatcher, burning up at 48 kilometers per second, 100 kilometers above the ground. It streaks across the central region of the rising Milky Way, pointing back to its radiant.
