COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet PanSTARRS, with its two tails, shines to the left of the large tree. This comet increased markedly in brightness and just passed its closest approach to Earth. Bright Venus and an even brighter crescent Moon hang in the distance above the trees. This view from New Zealand captures a celestial alignment.
