This 'little planet' is actually Mars, with the Curiosity Rover nearly straddling it. The car-sized robot is posing over a recent drilling target in the Marias Pass area of lower Mount Sharp. This digitally warped and stitched mosaic combines 92 images taken by the rover's Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) on Martian day 1065 of the mission, which corresponds to August 20, 2015.
