Saturn's moon Enceladus has a surprisingly complex north pole. The Cassini spacecraft, during a recent flyby, returned images showing craters alongside a pattern of cracks and fractures. While broken terrain has been seen at lower latitudes, these detailed images reveal new features in the northern region. Previously, this area was known mostly for its high number of craters.
