COSMIC MESSAGE
These clouds of gas and dust drift through star fields in the constellation Cygnus. The image shows the Soap Bubble Nebula and the Crescent Nebula. Both formed during the final phases of a star's life. The Crescent Nebula, also known as NGC 6888, was shaped by its central Wolf-Rayet star, WR 136, shedding its outer layers.
