COSMIC MESSAGE
Saturn's icy moon Enceladus is seen here above the planet's rings, captured by the Cassini spacecraft. Enceladus, only 500 kilometers across, is surprisingly active. Its south polar geysers are visible, venting beyond its dark southern limb. Data from Cassini shows these geysers are a source of the E-ring, one of Saturn's outer rings.
