The giant elliptical galaxy M60 and the spiral NGC 4647 are about 54 million light-years away in the Virgo Cluster. M60 is full of older stars swarming randomly, giving it an egg-like shape. NGC 4647 has young, blue stars, gas, and dust organized into winding spiral arms. The Hubble Space Telescope captured this cosmic portrait of the pair.
