IC 5067 is a prominent ridge of emission within the Pelican Nebula. This false-color image translates the glow of atoms in the nebula to a palette similar to those used in Hubble Space Telescope images. The ridge itself spans about 10 light-years, tracing the curve of the cosmic pelican's head and neck.
