The Fornax Cluster is one of the closest galaxy clusters to us, about 62 million light-years away. Most of its galaxies, visible as yellowish splotches in this image, are elliptical. This two-degree wide field-of-view captures a significant portion of the cluster, named for the southern constellation where it resides.
