Juno Approaching Jupiter

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

After a five-year journey, the Juno spacecraft approached Jupiter over its north pole. This perspective is rarely seen by Earth spacecraft, which usually pass closer to Jupiter's equator. JunoCam captured this image from 10.9 million kilometers away, showing Jupiter's nightside and its four large Galilean moons. JunoCam will provide close-up views of the gas giant's cloud tops.
