COSMIC MESSAGE

The Sunflower Galaxy, M63, is a spiral galaxy nearly 100,000 light-years across, similar in size to our Milky Way. This wide-field view shows its bright yellowish core and sweeping spiral arms. These arms are filled with dust lanes and regions where new stars are forming, all located in the constellation Canes Venatici.
