In 1971, Apollo 15 astronauts Jim Irwin and Dave Scott explored the Moon using the first Lunar Roving Vehicle. This panorama shows Scott examining a boulder on Mons Hadley Delta. The rover allowed them to cover more ground and collect samples during their nearly three-day stay.
