The Milky Way Sets

Under the dark skies of the Namibian desert, the Milky Way appears to set almost parallel to the horizon. This panoramic nightscape stretches from Centaurus on the left to Cepheus on the right, showing our galaxy's stars and cosmic dust. Mars, Saturn, and Antares are also visible, adding to the dramatic vista.
