COSMIC MESSAGE

M13, the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, is a colossal home to over 100,000 stars. Visible with binoculars, it spans over 150 light-years and is more than 12 billion years old. In 1974, a radio message about Earth was sent from Arecibo Observatory towards this cluster, over 20,000 light-years away.
