COSMIC MESSAGE

Two bright blue reflection nebulae, M78 and NGC 2071, are illuminated by the light of embedded stars. These dust clouds are part of the vast Orion Molecular Cloud complex, about 1,500 light-years distant. Astronomers study these regions to understand how stars form within them.
