COSMIC MESSAGE
Our Moon and Jupiter shared the sky on April 10, both near opposition, meaning they were opposite the Sun as seen from Earth. A passing cloud bank dimmed the moonlight, allowing a single exposure to capture both. You can see the familiar face of our Moon and Jupiter's four Galilean moons: Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, and Io.
