Palm Tree Partial Eclipse

While only a narrow path saw a total solar eclipse on April 8, most of North America experienced a partial eclipse. From Clearwater, Florida, a palm tree's criss-crossing fronds acted like pinhole cameras. They projected multiple images of the partially eclipsed Sun onto the ground. This snapshot captures those recognizable eclipse images in the shade.
