If our Sun were near the center of NGC 362, the night sky would glow with bright stars of many different colors. Hundreds of stars would be brighter than Sirius. NGC 362 is one of about 170 globular clusters of stars in our Milky Way Galaxy. This cluster is 100,000 light-years away and 100 light-years across.
