Orionid Meteors from Orion
NASA APOD · Lu Shupei
COSMIC MESSAGE
Meteors shot out from the constellation Orion during the Orionids Meteor Shower in October. This image, taken over Wulan Hada volcano in Inner Mongolia, China, shows multiple meteor streaks. All the streaks can be traced back to a single small region on the sky called the radiant, visible just above and to the left of Orion's belt.
