COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pleiades star cluster is slowly destroying part of a passing cloud of gas and dust. This cluster, the brightest open cluster in Earth's sky, is visible with the unaided eye. The passing dust cloud is thought to be part of Gould's Belt, a ring of young star formation in the Milky Way.
