Jupiter's rotating storm clouds are visible in this image from NASA's Juno spacecraft. Higher clouds are generally lighter in color, and the lightest clouds here are small dots within the lower oval. These small clouds are 50 kilometers across and are so high they cast shadows on the swirling oval below. Large ovals on Jupiter are typically long-lived.
