COSMIC MESSAGE

An aurora, shaped like a dragon, glows over Tromsø, Norway. A large coronal hole released a cloud of fast-moving particles toward Earth. This cloud impacted our magnetosphere, creating spectacular auroras at high northern latitudes. The shimmering green glow comes from recombining atmospheric oxygen atoms.
