COSMIC MESSAGE
The light at the end of the road is Mars. This month, Mars is at its brightest in 15 years, visible for much of the night. It is nearly 180 degrees opposite the Sun, and close to its nearest point to Earth. Mars is also nearing its closest point to the Sun in its elliptical orbit, just as Earth moves nearly between it and the Sun.
