COSMIC MESSAGE

The Trifid Nebula, also known as Messier 20, is a star-forming region in Sagittarius. It's about 5,000 light-years away and only 300,000 years old, making it one of the youngest star nurseries we know. This image also includes the open star cluster Messier 21, found nearby in the same field of view.
