COSMIC MESSAGE
The Moon itself is fine, but the image of it is distorted. Heat from a volcanic lava fountain at Mount Etna in Italy has made the air turbulent. This causes light to refract differently than usual, making the full Sturgeon Moon appear to melt. This picture is a composite of two images, one of the Moon and one of the lava fountain.
