COSMIC MESSAGE
The supernova remnant W63 is the ghost of a star that died long ago. It glows like a faint cosmic smoke-ring in the constellation Cygnus. The eerie blue glow traces the remnant against the rich interstellar clouds and dust of the Milky Way. This telescopic mosaic combines 100 hours of exposure time using narrowband filters, spanning over four full moons in the sky.
