Almost every point in this glittering image from the Hubble Space Telescope is a star, part of the globular cluster NGC 1898. These stars are much farther away than our Sun, which takes eight minutes for its light to reach Earth. Light from NGC 1898 takes about 160,000 years to get here. This massive ball of stars resides in the central bar of the Large Magellanic Cloud.
