This exceptional display of noctilucent clouds, also known as night-shining clouds, was captured reflecting in Vallentuna Lake near Stockholm, Sweden. These icy clouds sit about 80 kilometers above Earth's surface, reflecting sunlight even when the Sun is below the horizon. They are usually spotted at high latitudes during summer months and have had a strong showing this season.
