COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 2170, also known as the Angel Nebula, is a dusty reflection nebula near the center of this image. It reflects light from nearby hot stars, giving it a bluish hue. This celestial still life also includes other bluish reflection nebulae, a red emission region, and many dark absorption nebulae. The clouds of gas, dust, and hot stars create a complex and colorful scene in the constellation Monoceros.
