NASA APOD · Giorgia Hofer (Cortina Astronomical Association)
COSMIC MESSAGE

Hiking a high mountain pass in northern Italy, a conjunction between our Moon and Jupiter was visible. This happened just after sunset, three weeks ago. The mountains in the distance are the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These are some of the best-known peaks in the Dolomites and the entire Alps.
