COSMIC MESSAGE

Sharpless 2-308, the Dolphin Nebula, is a cosmic bubble blown by fast winds from a hot, massive star. It lies about 5,200 light-years away in Canis Major. The nebula is 60 light-years in diameter. The massive Wolf-Rayet star that created the bubble is near its center.
